Person-Centered Therapy
Our approach
We are marriage and family therapists seeking to support the mental health of our community through person-centered holistic care. We prioritize mental health by considering the multitude of factors that impact your daily life. We believe relationships are a key component to mental wellbeing and that by treating individuals, couples, and families through a systemic approach, we have a greater chance of producing long lasting change and healing.

Change is hard. [Period] Even good change can be uncomfortable. I have found that having a third party perspective to help rewrite your story makes the unknown feel safer. Whether it be grief, addiction, trauma, marital/family issues, anxiety, or postpartum issues, you are not alone. I am here for you and your family. I will be your biggest cheerleader along your journey and as you accomplish your goals. I encourage you to try therapy, even if it seems scary, because life can look so different than it does now.

Change is possible! Life can sometimes have us feeling stuck, stagnant, and hopeless, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relational discord, spirituality, and parenting issues are some of the most common concerns I have seen in therapy. I have witnessed many individuals, couples, and families heal and grow into new ways of living. Humans are resilient and I strongly believe you are capable of growth, healing, and change. The ability to be a part of your growth journey is a privilege that I do not take lightly, and I will strive to support you in reaching your goals, whatever they may be.
Our Mission
Our life dream is to open a joint private practice, and we are thrilled to do this together. Both of us have worked primarily in the corporate world throughout our career. I am sure our experience is very similar to the majority; working 40+ hours a week, not being paid enough for the amount of work we do, seeing our co-workers more than we do our family and friends, stressed to the max, and ultimately working to have a life we are not able to truly live. From these experiences and many more, we have learned our values do not line up with those of corporate America. Some of these values include being able to prioritize our relationship with our higher power, our relationship with each other, and the relationships with our family. At O’Quinn Therapy, our clients are viewed as people, not a number. We want to help you and your family identify what is important to you and make what seems impossible, possible. Our hope is that O’Quinn Therapy can be a model to shape a movement in the lives of our family, our clients, and our community.
